“Young Players To Be Having A Really Big Vision Like Roger Federer,” Says Former German Tennis Pro

The sport of tennis has become very popular worldwide and attracts a huge number of fans from around the globe. It is one of the reasons why the sport is not only physically but mentally very taxing for the players too.

Moreover, The players have to play under a lot of mental pressure. Dealing with this pressure is the key and something the professionals require apart from their skill. 

In today’s time the ‘Big Three’, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer, seem to have done that! These tennis stars have shown integrity, as well as calmness on the court ample number of times and the statistics, would agree.

The Big three have won 56 of the last 67 Grand Slams. Stan Wawrinka was the last to break their dominance in the Majors four years ago.  At the Australian Open 2020, Dominic Thiem came very close to the trophy but had to suffer a loss from the current world no.01 Novak Djokovic.

Michael Berrer the retired German professional, has also noticed this trend and has some opinions. “A Rafael Nadal is more tense, while Roger Federer is relaxed and makes fun. Novak Djokovic is very serious and the most mentally complete player now.”, Berrer said while talking to the Tennis Magazine.

Roger Federer on the other hand continues to mesmerize people with his game at the age of 39! The 20-time Grand Slam champion is currently on a break due to a knee injury. He has decided to take a break this year from the slams. But He will be back for the Olympics next year.

“So, I expect a 16-year-old, 17-year-old player to be having a really big vision like Roger Federer as a 15-year-old. It was clear to him (Federer) that he wanted to be the top 10 and then World No. 1.”, Berrer said talking about Roger’s determination.
