The first Latvian Grand Slam Winner Jelena Ostapenko was failed in the singles and doubles first round at Wimbledon Championship 2019. While playing the Women’s doubles during the first round match Jelena Ostapenko hits opponent Alize Cornet of France with a serve and wins a point as well. At the same time, Cornet complained to court umpire “this is the way to win a point”. However, the 14th seeded Jelena -Kudermevota pair lost to Cornet-Martic pair in the three sets.

Jelena Ostapenko Punched Her Partner Twice

At the Wimbledon 2019, Ostapenko smashed her mixed doubles partner Robert Lindstedt of Sweden on his backside during the second round match against Makoto Ninomiya and Andres Molteni. Eventually, Jelena-Robert won the match in the three sets.

Ostapenko Hitted Simona Halep In China Open

I was dizzy at first, but then I came back,” said Simona Halep after the bad experience of that match.

That was the first and last match in which Halep and Ostapenko made a pair.
