Ukrainian rising star Marta Kostyuk has lauded the former World No.1 Simona Halep ahead of the semifinal showdown at the Transylvania Open 2021

The 19-year-old Kyiv stormed into her first WTA semifinal after stunning the US Open champion Emma Raducanu in straight sets(6-2, 6-1) on the indoor hard court in Cluj Napoca, Romania.   

With the intention to make her WTA tour-level final debut, Kostyuk will lock horns with two-time Grand Slam champion Simona Halep.
