Amidst ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Women tennis tours resume in the next month all around the world. For this reason, players have started practicing for upcoming WTA tournaments. In a row, Former World number one, Simona Halep wishes to play in the Prague Open follow by the Palermo Ladies Open. 

The women’s international tennis tours will begin on 3rd August in Palermo, Italy. Consequently, the Prague Open 2020 will take place from 10th August to 16th August in Prague, The Czech Republic. At the same time, Top seed open will stage in Lexington, Kentucky, United States.

Romanian tennis star Simona Halep has confirmed her participation in the clay-court tournament via Prague Open 2020 twitter handle.

The WTA International tennis tournament takes place in outdoor clay courts since 2015. Six players’ top twenty rankings will part of the Prague Open 2020, Including Simona Halep(02), Belinda Bencic(08), Petra Martic(15), Elena Rybakina(17), Marketa Vondrousova(18), and Maria Sakkari(20).

Moreover, Players will compete for $250, 000 prize money. The impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Prague tournament is set to host behind closed doors.
