“He(Roger) Won’t Be Able To Be Loved As Much As Rafa”: Iga Swiatek Coach
It’s not a piece of cake winning a Grand Slam title amidst challenging conditions and rivals. But, Swiatak did it comfortably because of the way of training by her coaching team. However, Iga’s trainer Piotr Sierzputowski has now come to details his pupil’s admiration over King of Clay Rafael Nadal and explains why she is not a fan of Roger Federer.
The 28-years-old coach said, “I understand why Iga is such a big Rafa fan. He’s a great, well-mannered guy who always says hello, winks at you, smiles at you. He is never rude. Djokovic is very helpful; there is no denying it. Roger is a legend, you can’t hate him, but he won’t be able to be loved as much as Rafa.”
“Roger is not where all the players are; he disappears. Rafa plays board games with his team, sits with other players, and eats the same thing as everyone else. Roger has his cook, who travels with him. These details make Rafa more likeable, more human, although he is a machine on the court.” he concluded.
