23 time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams made a comeback in Top Seed Open at Lexington. Unfortunately, Serena loss the quarter-final match against the compatriot Shelby Rogers by 6-1, 4-6, 6-7. Alexis Ohanian, the husband of tennis champion Serena Williams and daughter Olympia, accompanied her during the WTA event in Lexington.

Tech entrepreneur Ohanian shared his thoughts on double standards while the women players showing emotions on the court and also how he felt stressful to watch a match between the Williams sisters.

The second round of the Top Seed Open in Lexington had a match between the Williams Sisters. However, Serena won the match against her sister Venus Williams. That is the stress-inducing factor for Ohanian.

Another Twitter account named @dumplinghoee posted a response to that video “But remember when Serena Williams threw her tennis racket in frustration after losing a match it was called a “meltdown?”.

Ohanian also joined the conversation to clarify his views and said “Love this passion. Love when ALL athletes get mad, get sad, and get emotional because that’s what we all watch for — humans pushing themselves to be the very best, which is raw and real entertainment. Undeniably a double standard when it comes to women, though”

Serena is well known for exhibiting her emotions on the court. Sometime after losing her control, showing her emotions and tend to break the tennis rackets.

However, that is evident that how much passion and love she possesses for tennis. Undeniably it is also leading many to talk about the double standards between men and women sports players in the field.
