In the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, food scarcity is a major concern all around the world. To help with this growing food insecurity, the US tennis star Serena Williams has partnered up with Instacart. In collaboration with Instacart and feeding America, the former world number one launched the #GiveFromTheCart Challenge.
Doing her part to make a change and help the needy, Williams lead off the challenge by donating 50,000 meals towards the #GiveFromTheCart Challenge. The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion is appreciative of her partnership with Instacart and Feeding America. Although, She also appeals for others to donate and help the disadvantaged in these difficult times.
“I’m so grateful to be partnering with Instacart and Feeding America for the #Give From The Cart Challenge. Together we are working to fight rising food insecurity. I am kicking off the challenge by donating 50,000 meals, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting the communities that need our help the most right now.” Serena Williams said.

Instacart is an American company that provides grocery delivery and pick up services. They collaborated with Feeding America, an American Non-profit Organization working towards hunger relief in the country.
The #GiveFromTheCart Challenge persuades consumers to donate the amount equal to their last grocery cart or any amount they wish towards feeding the needy in America. It also guarantees to match every donation, up to 1 million meals.

Moreover, they are together with the tennis pro are aiming at eliminating the problem of food insecurity in the United States. Also, they are contributing to the coronavirus relief projects.
