“Super Special To Me”: Dominic Thiem Reacts To His Great Achievement Against Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic

What the fantastic year 2020 It has been a remarkable season for Dominic Thiem. And while Austrian went into top 3 in the ATP players list for the first time, he clinched his first Grand Slam crown at the US Open 2020. 

However, Thiem registered his 300th victory in the tour after defeating World No.01 Novak Djokovic at the Nitto ATP Finals 2020. And also, he entered as a second member into an elite club, where Andy Murray stays a long time. 

The club is nothing but the members who collect five or more victories against each of Big 3(Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic).

Speaking about the significant achievement, the 27-years-old said, “that is super special to me. I mean, some things are super special about today’s victory. It was my 300th tour-level win, which is amazing to me.”

2020 Australian Open finalist continued, “And then to beat every single of the three best players of all-time five times each, it’s something great for me. Super nice statistics.”
