According to several reports, the 2018 Champion Naomi Osaka sets to play in the United States Grand Slam event this year. Moreover, She has taken a wild card entry into the Western and Southern Open.
The pro-US Open tournament Cincinnati Open organizers have recently released 2020 event Women’s singles wild card players list, which is confirmed Osaka will play in New York tournament.
In addition to this, Venus Williams, Kim Clijsters, Sloane Stephens, and Caty McNally will be entering with Naomi Osaka in the W&S Open 2020 by using a wild card entry.
Moreover, Cincinnati Open kicks off on 20th August and will be played in the same venue of the US Open’s USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center New York. Notably, It annually held in Cincinnati but has moved to NYC due to Coronavirus concerns.

However, the 22-year-old’s management team told Reuters via email that the reports were wide of the mark and that she would be participating at Flushing Meadows.”
