Novak Djokovic, while being one of the best on the tennis court, is also known for his suitable activities off the court. The world number one is the founder of the Novak Djokovic Foundation.

For participating in the program of “Support, Not Perfection”, the whole team recently distributed free tablets to the participants. Additionally, these participants are the parents of the children who are in the “Children’s Joy” preschool institution in Pancevo. Besides, these tablets were dispensed by the Generali Osiguranje Serbia insurance company and The Human Global Safety Net.

Moreover, the Foundation now would extend this step to the other parts of the country. The Foundation is looking to give out computers to the parents of the students in Novi Pazar, Vladimirci, Pecinci, Nis, Kovacica, Smederevo.

Additionally, on this occasion, founder Novak Djokovic had all the appreciation for the team. Novak said that parents too sometimes need advice on how to treat their children in some situations. Besides, he added, “I speak based on my personal experiences.”

Moreover, Novak also said that he likes listening to the stories of parents with their children. And Serb mentioned that he uses their opinions to become a better parent himself.

He said that the whole program of “Support, Not Perfection” allows us to become better parents. And he thanked everyone for making an integral benefaction by participating in the program.

“Support, Not Perfection” is a program that is meant to entrust the parents. Additionally, the program tries to develop skills and knowledge among the parents. These skills and expertise would ultimately help the parents to work on the development of the potential of their children at a very young age. 

Due to the pandemic, the sessions of the new cycle will take place online, which has become the new normal. And the program will now have more than 380 parents from across the various parts of Serbia.
