Novak Djokovic reaches out to legend Serena Williams and Sloane Stephens so as to make an attempt in bringing women into the formation of a new Players Association.

Additionally, Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil earlier resigned from their respective positions in the ATP Players Council. They now aim to form a new association so as to have a louder voice in the decision making of the game.

The idea of the formation was criticized as no women member was involved. However, this may no longer be an issue as Djokovic goes ahead to ask Williams and Stephens to join the association. Moreover, Djokovic also informed that discussion to involve the WTA members are going on.
