The 20 time Grand Slam title winner, Rafael Nadal is all set to play at Rolex Paris Masters 2020. Recently, in his last tournament French Open 2020, he had a straight-set win against Novak Djokovic and experts believe that he’s in a great form to play and win another title.
Rafael didn’t play at the Vienna Open 2020 this time, and the Rolex Paris Masters 2020 would be his first tournament after winning at Roland Garros. Moreover, hopes are very high! Rafael has never won Paris Masters but this time experts believe the situation is in his favour. Director of Paris tournament Guy Forget, recently said that Rafa’s chances are higher than the rest.
“He( Rafael Nadal) Has Weapons”: Guy Forget
The 55-year-old director of the tournament put forward his predictions and believed Rafa’s chances are much more than any other this time because the situations suit him.
“He has the weapons to do it, in particular by imposing his ball length. I found him performing at this level this year at Roland. He found I find more depth by playing a little differently. With these patterns, he can win at Bercy.” Forget said while talking about his last performance and pattern.
Additionally, while Nadal has 35 Masters titles, he is yet to win a single one in Paris. Besides, even after having played a total of 7 times in the tournament, the Spaniard has only featured in one final. However, he ended up losing the match. Moreover, this happened many years back in 2007.
Besides, in the absence of various top players, including world number one Novak Djokovic and Swiss legend Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal would like to grab this opportunity to win his first title at the Paris Masters.
