Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no audience and watchers allowed in the stadium to maintain safety and follow all precautionary measures.

However, Lopez talked about the same and said, “For me, it’s a gift to play against Rafa. It’s a shame it’s in an empty stadium because at this point in my career it would have been a great reward to finish the last week of the season facing the world number 2.”

Furthermore, more than a competitor, Lopez considers Rafael as a good friend and is very excited to play with him. Although, he is a little disheartened because of the audience not being present.

“Perhaps the best in history, a friend like him, in a stadium like this… But you have to do with what you have. I will enjoy the game in the same way.” Lopez added.

According to Lopez, playing against Rafa is a challenge because of the kind of intense gameplay he possesses. “I think playing against Rafa is always a challenge. It’s special because of the intensity with which the games against him are experienced. It’s very difficult to play against him. Facing him at 39 at this time in my life is a gift” Lopez concluded.
