Toni Nadal, in a virtual meeting with tennis fans, talked about the significance of the right coach in a player’s life. Additionally, to put forth his points, he also stated integral examples.
Moreover, Toni also mentioned Netherlands and Barcelona legend Johann Cruyff. He added, “I had the opportunity to ask the same thing to Johann and he told me he was always very good. But the key was to have a good coach. A coach who taught him a type of game with players older than him, and that when he played with those of his age, he had to apply it.”
Toni was the coach of Nadal till 2017. Besides, it was Toni who gave the racket in the hands of Nadal at the age of 3 years. Under his coaching, the Spaniard legend, Rafael Nadal was able to win 16 Grand Slam titles. Additionally, Toni is one of the most successful coaches in the history of the game.
As of now, Toni is the coach at the Rafa Nadal Academy. He keeps himself busy in training the future stars of the game. He believes that while it is good to be realistic, but one should never give up on his or her dreams. Instead, one should keep going and prove himself on different stages.
