Dominic Thiem is a professional tennis player from Austria. He was born on 3rd September 1993 in Wiener Neustadt, a city located south of Vienna in Lower Austria. The right-handed stalwart is living in Lichtenworth, Austria.

Dominic Thiem’s father, Wolfgang, and his mother, Karin. Both are tennis coaches. He has a younger brother named Moritz, also a professional tennis player. 

In addition to this, the former Chilean professional Nicolas Massu has been coaching Thiem since March 2019. Dominic
Thiem has been dating circus artist Lili Paul-Roncalli since October 2020.

Dominic Thiem Junior Career 

Thiem began playing tennis at the age of six. He competed in the Junior tennis circuit from January 2008 to December 2011. During that period, Austrian claimed eleven singles titles, three doubles titles and reached a junior singles career-high ranking of World No.2 on 3rd January 2011.  

Dominic Thiem ATP Career 

Dominic Thiem turned into a professional in 2011. In the same year, he made his ATP main draw at the Kitzbuhel Open as a wild card entrant. Since then, he has won 17 titles out of the 28 final appearances. 

In the Grand Slam events, Austrian clinched his maiden major title at the 2020 US Open. Dominic Thiem also reached the French Open final in 2018 and 2019 and the Australian Open final in 2020. 

How Many Masters Has Thiem Won?

Thiem claimed his first-ever ATP Masters 1000 title at the 2019 Indian Wells after defeating Roger Federer in the championship match. Afterwards, he has not won any Masters title so far.
