The rivalry between Nadal and Federer is very famous on the tennis circuit. On the other hand, their comradeship is the best example for thousands of youngsters all around the world. Anyhow, World No.2 Rafael Nadal has said that he and Roger Federer are indistinguishable in taking care of family and peace at the same time they vary in characters and cultures.  

The Spaniard tied the record of most Grand Slam title winners with Roger Federer when he won his 13th crown at the French Open.

In a recent Q & A session with Sportske Novosti, the 34-years-old Spanish tennis star was questioned how would you describe your relationship with 39-years-old Swiss legend.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion replied, “I think we’ve developed one nice combination of friendship and rivalry over the years. Our rivalry is intense, but it has remained within the bounds of respect in which Roger nor I have ever crossed the line. We and tennis as a sport have benefited from that.”(Quotes translated into English via Google translator)

“Likewise, we have reached a stage in life when we can understand that victories are not the only thing in the world. We are similar in some things: we care about peace, family. In others, we are different. He is Swiss, and I am Spanish. That means we have different characters, cultures, ways of life.”, Rafa added.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s Preparation For Australian Open 2021  

On Saturday, Tennis Australia confirmed the schedule of the first slam of the 2021 season and the event would begin on 8th February in Melbourne.

Rafael Nadal has already started to hit the balls on the hard courts in his academy, and the Italian rising star Jannik Sinner’s coach said Spaniard would practise with his pupil during the first week of the 2021 Australian Open quarantine. 

On the other hand, Roger Federer is still not confirmed his participation at the Melbourne major event at the same time he began the pre-season training in Dubai.

According to reports, Australian Open organizer Craig Tiley said he had been touch with Federer and his team. Also, he highlighted Roger had committed to travel to Melbourne to play.
