“Any Time Her Name Is In A Slam”- Coach Craig Kardon Hopes On Serena Williams To Win A Grand Slam Title Sooner

In the middle of predictions and expectations, Serena Williams has started preparation for the US Open 2020. Meanwhile, A Grand Slam-winning coach Craig Kardon hopes on Serena Williams to win a Grand Slam title sooner.

Former World Number One Serena Williams lost her four major title finals in a row at Wimbledon and the US Open. However, Kardon said that She definitely claim her 24th Grand Slam as soon as possible.

“I think Serena definitely has a shot, any time her name is in a Slam. She’s got a big game. The thing for her is balancing her family, and the training, and making sure she’s fit and not getting injured. She’s a complete player. She competes unbelievable in the biggest moments, and a champion does.”  Craig Kardon said in a recent interview with a tennis channel.

In addition to this, Craig Kardon has been coaching several top tennis players in the WTA and ATP tennis circuit. He has almost 25 years of experience in the coaching field. Right now, Kardon is working with Coco Vandeweghe of the United States.

You want to be a champion in tennis your physical ability is not enough for it. You need a laser beam concentration on the courts. As a reason for any time, you can get a distraction from the opponent, umpiring decisions, weather delays, and performing in front of a large crowd. Moreover, negative thoughts and self-doubts can lead to failing you in the courts.

Although, Craig Kardon said you want to become mastering the mental game you never compromise with your body fitness. “Tennis is a very mental game when you get to that level because everyone’s fit. Everyone takes care of their body and they’re very strong and fit and everyone does the work. It’s very physical and the players are a lot fitter.” coach Craig  Kardon concluded.
