Former World No. 01 Andy Murray is making a comeback in the US Open 2020 as a wildcard entrant. Briton is widely regarded as a tennis legend who won three Grand Slams, two Olympic gold medals, and numerous tennis tour titles. But, unfortunately, his injuries led him to a downfall.
The champion is currently in great shape, and high potential player to win the US Open title says by his compatriot Emma Raducanu.
In addition to this, 17-old Raducanu recently got a chance to play with Andy Murray in the prestigious Battle of the Brits. The Britain rising tennis star faced Murray twice on the Roehampton courts.

Raducanu shared her experience from the tournament on how she spent her time with Andy Murray. She is praising Murray’s ability and strong shape while he is preparing for the Grand Slam tournament. The US Open 2020 is taking place at Flushing Meadows behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“His fight and determination just to get back out competing say a lot for itself,” Raducanu said about the grand slam champion. She added further “No matter what, he’s going to give his best and, in these conditions, anything can happen as his game is really great”
Moreover, She recalled Andy Murray’s performance “He’s great and the thing that makes him a great competitor in the big points – he knows exactly what to do when to push and which points matter”
She concluded, “He definitely zones in for the more important points, and you can feel that as it means there’s pressure on you.”
Furthermore, Canada born Raducanu is currently playing in the UK Pro Series as a wildcard entrant. She started playing tennis at the age of five and entered the ITF/Tennis Europe final match, unfortunately, lost the match.
In 2018, she got a wildcard to qualify for the women’s singles at the Wimbledon tournament where she lost the first round against Barbora Stefkova. She is the rising tennis star in England with great skill and talent.
