French Tennis Pro Alize Cornet picked herself first in the perfect tennis players selection task. Former World Number Eleven picked out her best three players including Serena Williams on the basis of several attributes. The 2018 Swiss Open Champion would take the quality of fitness, serve, backhand and volley from those players to build her perfect player.

In an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports Website, The World No.59 Alize Cornet said, “I would keep my fighting spirit because I think it’s pretty good. Then the rest, I would take the fitness of Simona Halep. I would get the serve of Serena, definitely, and her power too, because yeah, it’s impressive. Oh yeah, I would get the forehand of Ash Barty, yeah, that’s wow.”

“I love her game in general, but her forehand is marvelous. And backhand? There are lots of girls that have beautiful backhands, it’s really not easy. Yeah, maybe I would keep my volleys! Yeah, Ashleigh Barty, she also has such a great volley, Petra Martic is a very good volley-er too. I’d say Petra. She’s my friend, so I would like to add her as my perfect player”. Alize Cornet added.

The Frenchwoman has won Six singles and three doubles titles on the WTA Tournaments. On February 16, 2009, Alize reached her career highest ranking position 11 in the WTA singles rankings.

The 30-years-old Alize Cornet became the first player since Justin Henin in 2007 to beat the Former World No.01 Serena Williams in three consecutive times. And also She defeated the top 10 players on nineteen occasions including her favorite Serena Williams and Simona Halep as well. 

Alize Cornet expressed her thoughts on playing tennis after an unusual break, “We have no clue, “But if we can play some tournaments during 2020, I think it would really be a victory. But we will definitely have to adapt.”
